Aqua Group Nominated for ICSA Jersey Awards 2017

ICSA Jersey Awards LogoThe Aqua Group came into being in the final quarter of 2012. Since then it has gone from strength to strength focusing on providing strong corporate services to family owned businesses and UHNW families and family offices.

Aqua has focused on developing its resources and providing holistic training to support its core team in developing their skills, aptitude and expertise, enabling them to bring value and best practice to all areas of their service offering. This has achieved recognition by the ‘Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators’ for the areas of Company Secretarial and Administrative Practice. Aqua was nominated in the following categories:

  • Corporate Services Team of the Year Award
  • Administration Team of the Year
  • Governance Team of the Year Award

Aqua Group has four Regulatory Licences including a Financial Services Business (“FSB”) and Trust Company Business (“TCB”) Licence in Jersey, a full Trust Licence in Malta and a Trust Licence in the State of Qatar. 

Aqua has built and developed a bespoke Compliance and Regulatory Platform to ensure a fit for purpose governance model and best of breed approach is applied to each of the jurisdictions in which Aqua works.

Aqua has developed credibility with the Regulatory Regimes in the Jurisdictions in which it works and has invested time in “not for profit” organisations. Equally, Aqua has supported the initiatives of various Finance bodies to develop inroads into new markets.

Aqua’s focus on putting clients first has been critical to its development and the growth of the Corporate Governance Team. Aqua engaged with a leading Performance Management Group to develop the leaders in its business and to ensure that risk management and governance of the business becomes an integral part of Aqua’s culture. 

This has included driving in a bespoke ethics programme through the Governance Team. It is notable that Aqua has 17% of Aqua’s key personnel hold Compliance qualifications, providing credible resource into a Governance and Ethics Programme.

Aqua’s visual brand being the  “bubble of water” demonstrates Aqua’s values of remaining an essential element, transparent, clear and distinct.
